Unique furniture for unique spaces

Whether it's a bedroom, living room or your flat's entrance, every space can be unique and nowadays, especially when living in cities like Barcelona, where flats are often small, with challenging layouts, it is key to have furniture that works and makes the most it. However, it's not all about functionality and efficiency, furniture should also define and enhance a space. 

At Hoioh Design, after experimenting with a number of smaller products and replicable designs, we decided to offer also solutions for larger, bespoke pieces of furniture. These are unique items that we can design for you.

Whilst the style (minimal), material (birch or white plywood) and functional elements (drawers, sliding doors) are consistent, they can easily be adapted in length, width and depth to fit your requirements.

We love furniture that is light, fits close to your walls and allows easily cleaning underneath. We therefore developed a simple system to hang it to your walls by using a hidden plank of wood that you can easily fix to it before the furniture is hooked on top.

Sliding doors and drawers don't use any metal rails, the wood is simply carved to create elements that work together to achieve those functions.

With a great attention to the design, we make sure the beauty of the material plays elegantly with its functional details, creating a consistent and harmonious  visual language.

That being said, we can also customise some of our standard products like hangers, shelves and shoe hangers to make the most of your rooms, like we did in this apartment entrance, fitting perfectly to the wall width available.
