IN collection launch at FAD Design Market

On 13th, 14th and 15th December 2019, we were at the Design Market 2019 organised by the FAD (Foment de les Arts i del Disseny) at the Design Hub in Barcelona, just next to the Design Museum.

The Hoioh team - Roger Llimós and Luca Castiglioni (left and right) - was joined by Zulema Josa (front), the designer of our IN small and medium stools and also by Kentaro Terajima (back), who designed the Hoioh brand and website.

We had a great location for our stand and we were very impressed by the amount of people who came by, asked questions, interacted with our products and appreciated our hard work over the past few months.

It was especially nice to receive great feedback from experts of the design and architecture scene in Catalunya, like Adi-Fad, Santa & Cole, Curro Claret and Fernando Marzá. A big thank you to all of them for their kind words!

We had great fun playing with our stools and showing to the public multiple configurations. We loved demonstrating how you can use them as stools, coffee tables, atmospheric lamps, bedside tables, as well as a hidden storage space with a very sculptural presence in the room.

Nothing was left to chance and our outfit was carefully thought through and colour coordinated.

Flamingos sneakers

We had the pleasure to wear sneakers from the environmentally conscious brand Flamingos Life (above) as well as quirky organic cotton socks from Van Bahlsen (below).

Van Bahlsen

It was our first design fair and a three days non-stop endeavour, and whilst being very demanding in terms of energy, we absolutely loved it.

Amongst all, it demonstrated how well we can work as a team, and complement each other, just like our IN stools!

If you couldn't drop by at the Design Market, you can come to visit us at our showroom in Ca l'Agustí, Poeta Cabanyes 58, 08004, Barcelona, where you can see and touch our products in person.
